If you drag the folder to the network share the folder itself will get there but no files and you get the error message eveyone mentions. All I am trying to do is simply copy a file. This worked for me! I have not run into a case – yet – that is as dire and persistent as you describe. that it wasn't as ridiculous as it first seemed.
