For debugging, I (personally) like it better than MSConfig. Update: it goes on to say "an internal error has occured." i have a vaio laptop. im really starting to hate my computer. That is not a solution to what is just an annoyance on a machine that has a lot of custom software installed.

I've searched the registry on words from both lines of the error and am not finding it. After checking the link (to a Forum) in his post, it clears it up for me quite well. Install it, hit run and problem solved. im really starting to hate my computer. http://theresab.com/fingerprint-software/fingerprint-software-error.html it says i have to go to my Protetor suite file but i searched for it in my computer and it isnt there.

You wouldn't want the FPR to not have a way to bypass it, that could be a problem if it failed, your system would be hopelessly locked. In some cases the error may have more parameters in Fingerprint Software Error Srv-proc-not-rdy format .This additional hexadecimal code are the address of the memory locations where the instruction(s) was loaded I do not believe you are looking at a biometric device issue. im really starting to hate my computer....
Or, perhaps, use a System Restore point. This code is used by the vendor to identify the error caused. Worries me though, that you are gettin an internal error. please please please help me.
