I do have the recovery cd to use. Rename the files in the C:\Windows\Tmp folder as follows: o Rename _REGISTRY_USER_.DEFAULT to DEFAULT o Rename _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SECURITY to SECURITY o Rename _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SOFTWARE to SOFTWARE o Rename _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SYSTEM to SYSTEM o Rename Windows failed to start.
